How long will it take for me to get my order?
We know you want to get your tees asap! We generally ship within 2-3 days, and use a fast courier service for delivery. Deliveries to large cities generally take less than 5 days from the date of ordering. Smaller cities and towns might take another day or two.
How do I check my order status?
We have a page designed just for this- just login and then visit the order status page; you will find all your orders listed there. We update the status of your order in real time, so you should see which stage of processing your order is in. If you have any concerns or questions after checking this status, please write in to us and we’ll help out.
I had some problems during the ordering process- what should I do now?
If your transaction failed, please check your bank account or credit card statement to see if the payment has been made successfully. For any further problems, please drop us a line with your order details and we will help you out.
I ordered and got the wrong sized tee. What do I do now?
No problem! We want you to get what will fit you well, so just fill out a returns form (link to returns page) and return the tee to us at the address given there. Don’t forget to mention the right size you would like us to send you (you can check the size chart by checking out any one of our product pages in our catalog and clicking on the link that says "size chart").
Do I have to pay to send back a wrong or defective item?
We take all care to avoid defects, but exceptions do happen now and then. If you received a defective piece, we will reimburse the return shipping cost for you. Please include a copy of your shipping receipt when you return the tee, and also a copy of the returns form.
Why are some items out of stock?
At Go Untucked, everything is limited edition! We print a limited number of t-shirts for any given design, and keep adding new designs every month to our collection. This ensures that what you wear is truly unique, and also that you have new and exciting stuff to look at every time you visit us.
However, we would like you to get what you want. If something you like is out of stock, you can click on the “reprint me” button on the product page. If we receive enough requests for a product, we might make more of the same available.
Do you take international orders?
We ship to the following countries:
If your country is not covered, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll try to arrange it for you.
How do I use discount codes?
Add the item(s) you want in your cart, and just enter the discount code on the checkout page (you should see it below your orders). The system will give you the discounted total.
How can I change or cancel my order?
If you have already made the payment, write to us with the order details. If we are able to, we will accommodate the request.
What shipping method do you use for sending the products?
We use a reliable courier service, and have negotiated faster delivery times with them. The tees are all neatly packaged in tamper-proof bags, and should get to you within 5 business days of ordering (add a day or two for smaller cities/towns.
It’s been a while since I placed my order, and I’m getting a bit edgy. What should I do?
Yes, we don’t like to keep you waiting either! First, check the order status page to see if the item has been shipped within the last 5 days. That’ll tell you if the product is with us, or the shipping company. Either way, if it has been more than 7 days since you ordered, we apologize in advance for this unusual delay. Please write in to us (link to contact us page) with your order details and we’ll help you out with the matter.
Tell me about your tees- the fabric you use, manufacturing and printing techniques?
All Go Untucked tees are constructed using the finest 100% combed cotton (single jersey) made using high quality yarn. The fabric is “washed” in special ways to make it softer and more comfortable to wear. We use different techniques for printing, depending on the design. In the end, everything is chosen to deliver to you a superior quality product that is distinctive, comfortable and appropriately styled.
Will the colours on my t-shirt look different from how it appears on the website?
Yes, a little deviation is inevitable just because your computer screen displays things in a certain way, and fabric printing is done using industry-standard colour codes. We do sample actual t-shirts (not just images) so ensure that the print looks attractive, so generally you should be completely satisfied with your print.
Will my t-shirt shrink after washing?
A small amount of shrinking is inevitable in 100% cotton products. This should generally be within 2-3% of the overall dimensions. We use the best quality yarn, and special treatment techniques to minimize this shrinkage. You should never have to worry about fit issues because of washing. If you do, please let us know (link to contact us page) and we’ll investigate the matter.
What the washing instructions?
We can’t say this often enough at Go Untucked- no matter what you buy, the way you treat your t-shirt goes a long way in increasing its life and maintaining its quality. Here’s a quick summary for you- the A, B, C and D of washing instructions:
1. Avoid ironing directly on the print.
2. Bleaching should be avoided as much as possible.
3. Colours- Wash dark and light colours separately.
4. Dry in shade, if possible. Direct sunlight hurts not only your eyes, but also the construction of any garment.
How does the voting process work?
Everyone is first required to login or create an account prior to scoring designs. If you’re not already there, click on “Take Part” in the top nav and go to “Decide the Winner”. There you’ll be able to start scoring existing designs that have been added to our voting gallery. If you haven’t logged in, a pop-up window will appear asking for your account info. We tabulate our scores on a 1-5 system. I being the lowest score, and 5 being the highest. Our system will keep track of your scoring history, so that when you return to the site, you’ll have a record of what you’ve already rated. You’ll also notice a “I’d Buy This” link, which is a simple indicator to us that you’d be interested in purchasing this shirt if and when it is produced. Clicking this link does not commit you to making a purchase. It’s just another way for us to measure which designs our community truly wants to see produced. Think of it as nothing other than a voting boost in the rankings.
How are winners selected in the design competition?
Our team evaluates the top scoring designs each week, and we take into account the overall score, the comments, how many folks pressed the “I’d Buy This” link and we also look at the type of design shown. We do this to avoid producing too many consecutive designs that are similar in type and style.
What happens to the rights to my artwork?
Can I have my design removed from the site?
If you feel that your design is not performing, and you’d like to pull it from the voting gallery, simply send us an email letting us know which design you’d like us to remove. Once the design is removed, you may rework it, scrap it or re-enter it at a later time.
What type of image, and how do I submit to the snapshots gallery?
You can submit a photo of yourself wearing a recently purchased shirt in our Snapshots Gallery. Make sure you have at least ¾ of your face visible as well as the tee. Do not submit a hi-res pic and be aware your photo will be cropped to 380 x 272 pixels after its submitted. Make sure it is 380 x 272 pixels and 72 dpi…
Specifications for your snapshot photo submission can be found on the submission page. Please pay careful attention to the instruction so as to avoid having your photo rejected. The benefit of submitting a photo is that you win points, and we often pick photos that we love and reward the user with free tees and other awesome stuff.
If I’m an international designer, am I still allowed to submit my designs?
Of course! In fact, you’re not alone. We estimate that the majority of our designs come from abroad. This is good news for community at large, but this also means that you have stiff competition from international talent. The only thing that we require is that you create a user account before submitting your work.
What do I receive for winning?
The Winner’s Jackpot
a. Rs. 5000 in cash
b. Rs. 1500 Go Untucked Gift Card (redeemable for Rs. 500 in cash)
c. Rs. 2000 every time your design is reprinted
d. Special mention across our website and via email blasts
You’ll also receive special recognition in our blogs, and have an exclusive opportunity to post your own blogs and comments in a section of our company blog that is only reserved for staff and winning designers.
For those extra special designs that cause the biggest stir, the Go Untucked team has decided to launch the PHENOM AWARDS, a competition that will determine the best of the best design, and award the winner an amazing cash prize of Rs. 20,000, making your total earnings well over Rs. 25,000 (or Rs. 25,500 in cash).
- How do I enter? After you submit your design for the general contest, there is no need to do any additional work. If your submission wins the general design contest, or any one of our custom contests, it will automatically be eligible for the Phenon Awards. Winners will be announced on a bi-monthly basis.
- How are winners selected? The Go Untucked team will select a winner based on a number of criteria: quaity of design, voting outcome, comments, popularity and finally purchase frequency (a measure of how quickly your tee is sold when printed).
- How will winners be announced? There will be a similar annoucement process to our general design contest. Winners will be notified via email or by phone.
Why was my snapshot gallery photo cropped or altered?
If your snapshot submission is larger than 380 x 272 pixels and 72 dpi then our staff will alter it to make it the appropriate size.
Where can I find my Critiques?
The Critiques Section of the blog forum and in your profile.
How long does it take for my design to show up in the voting gallery?
Please allow up to 7-10 days for your design submission to be posted in our voting gallery. A design is only posted after it has been approved by our staff. This may take some time depending on the number of submissions we receive.
Can I resubmit an old design that has never won and that scored below what I thought it should?
A design can be resubmitted, but you must alter it in a meaningful way so that it is not identical or so that it doesn’t resemble one of your previous submissions. You must do more than simply change the colors or move around some of the formatting.
What are Critiques?
If you’re not sure how the community will respond to one of your designs, it is often helpful to post it in the Critique section so that you can test the waters. You’ll receive useful information that will help guide you before you submit your work for the general voting process.
Can I submit a design as a print instead of a tee?
All designs that are submitted will be considered both for production as tees and prints.
I just scored a few designs… why haven’t they been reflected in my profile?
You may need to clear the cache in your browser in order for your previous scores to appear. No worries...
What is a Custom Challenge?
We often post theme challenges to give our designers a little extra inspiration, or a set of ideas to work with. At times we will also partner with corporations we love, to bring you a custom challenge that will offer a series of additional perks, such as higher payouts or other product giveaways. Designers who decide to enter these challenges must follow the custom theme guidelines.
Do I have to design according to a Custom Challenge theme?
You are only bound to a theme if you are submitting your work for a custom challenge. The general design competition does not have any theme limitations.
If I recognize a celebrity wearing a Go Untucked tee, can I send you a picture or him/her?
Definitely! In fact we hope you’re able to find a celeb wearing some of our gear. If you manage to do so… you’ll get rewarded handsomely.
Help! I’m having trouble submitting a photo or a design?
Make sure you have at least ¾ of your face visible as well as the tee. Do not submit a hi-res pic and be aware your photo will be cropped to 380 x 272 pixels after its submitted.

How many points do I get for submitting a snapshot photo?

Why must I submit an order number with my snapshot photo submission?
Sometimes our system will not recognize your tee, in which case we will send you a notice asking you for your order number.
Can I still earn points from a shirt that was given as a gift or that I purchased from a vendor?
As long as the purchaser of the gift does not submit a photo using the same shirt, you will be permitted to do so, and you will earn points from the photo. That said, you will need the order number for the purchase. Please contact the person that placed the order for that information, if it was not included in your gift.
Why was my snapshot photo declined?
Your photo may be declined for the following reasons: it does not include your face, it is blurry, the photo is of poor quality or taken with bad lighting, and if you do not present the t-shirt in a manner that respects the product. You are also required to wear the shirt… not just hold it up.
Can I delete or edit existing snapshots?
Of course you can. Just shoot us an email and we will delete the photo for you right away. Please note that any points that were offered for the photo will also be erased as soon as your photo is deleted.
What is Twisted Ventures LLC?
Twisted Ventures LLC is the parent company to Go Untucked was formed in 2010 by a group of grad students who sought to rethink the e-commerce landscape. They wanted to create a fun company that would not only provide a basic consumer goods service but would also make a difference in the lives of others.
How did the Go Untucked movement get started?
The idea began in a classroom in Southern California where two classmates decided to partner together to build a company that fosters creativity and that allows people to have fun and give back. They were intrigued by the idea of handing over the company’s creative direction to the very customers who buy the items. They also felt inspired by the recent successes of a number of companies that have successfully been able to use this model.
Customers should get exactly what they want, but uncovering what that is presented a problem. Hence the founders decided to create an online platform where designs and ideas can be shared, and from there, they simply handed over the keys to users like you. We hope that you will take ownership of the site and feel as in control and passionate about it as we do.
How does Go Untucked work?
Users have the power to steer the direction of the Go Untucked product line. Experienced and inexperienced designers alike can submit their best work to the ongoing design competition, and the community vote will determine which designs win and are ultimately produced. Voting is on a scale of 1-5. The highest overall score will usually be the one that wins, but there are some exceptions to this rule. Winning designers are immediately notified, and they are presented with a cash prize. Their work is printed instantly and presented to the community for purchase.
During the purchase process, Go Untucked has set up a system whereby consumers can make a selection of a charity where a portion of their purchase will be donated. This donation is at no additional cost to the consumer. It’s simply a way for the community at large to make a significant and meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Another area of the site that we hope to grow is our SpeakUp forums. Here we hope to integrate current pop culture and current events related topics with our design process by asking the community to tell us what’s important and what’s on their minds. We consider this the playground for non-designers. It will act as a mechanism for designers to derive inspiration for their future work and will allow us to keep our finger on the pulse of what the community cares about most.
Huh? What is Go Untucked?
Go Untucked is an online design community where users hold the reigns. Visitors to Go Untucked are able to not only shop for products they love, but they can also score designs, offer comments and critiques, and post about whatever is on their minds. Each user’s voice has an impact in determining the direction of the company’s product offerings. Go Untucked is also a virtual playground for aspiring and highly accomplished designers who want to have their work noticed by the international community. It’s a place for them to test their skills and compete against some of the best talent in the world. At stake is substantial cash prizes, notoriety, and a real opportunity to establish a strong presence among passionate shoppers who truly care about what the company produces. In addition, the company has made it a priority give back to local charitable organizations in need. Hence it has set up a system whereby a portion of the profits from every purchase is given to select charities.
How does Go Untucked give back to the community?
The founders of Go Untucked wear their hearts on their sleeve, and they hope that the community will as well. Making a real difference in someone’s life doesn’t always mean offering a substantial donation or sacrificing a large amount of time. It can start from something small. They chose the word “Go” because they wanted to start a movement founded in the idea that the spirit of creativity often begins as a tiny idea but can spring into a monumental outcome.
When a purchase is made, there is a section in the checkout process where each consumer can select a certain charity from our list of notable charities. Once a selection is a made, an automatic donation will be made on the consumers’ behalf. This contribution will come from the proceeds of the purchase and will not affect or change the overall total price of the purchase. Consumers also have the option to increase their contribution, and will have the opportunity to provide their own separate donation.
Are there any Go Untucked retail locations?
Not at this time. However, we are looking for vendors to carry our product line. If you are interested in partnering with us, please contact email@example.com
Retail locations are definitely being planned in the near future, but all in due time.
